Agnihotra is a ritual of purifying the atmosphere through a specially prepared fire. Anyone can perform the ritual of Agnihotra and heal the atmosphere at his/her home and nearby surroundings. Holika Dahan or the lighting of fire takes place on the eve of Holi. This fire signifies the burning of evil, fear, and bad energies.
